Church of the Good Shepherd Presents

The Cambodian Christian Arts Ministry Dancers

7PM on Rally Day, Sunday, Sept. 9, 2001

The Cambodian Christian Arts Ministry is a ministry of Love, Rescue, Evangelism and Discipleship located in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. CCAM's mission is to evangelize and train Cambodians for Christ through the arts, giving priority to the disadvantaged--the poor, uneducated, handicapped, abused, abandoned, and orphaned. Street kids, gang members, and promiscuous teens – about 40 total -- are currently being sheltered, protected, fed, clothed, and educated in a Christian environment.

The program will consist of a number of dances interpreting events in the life of Jesus Christ, and will be narrated by Missionaries Gioia Michelotti and Noren Kim. The troupe is en route to the Astrodome to perform before an audience of more than 30,000 persons attending the Global Celebration of Women in Houston.

The troupe will be visiting Arcadia Sep. 6-11, and will be staying at the church, but it would be nice to give them the opportunity to stay in our homes part of the time so they can better understand family life in America. Please contact Harry Heflin at (626) 359-2203 or h.heflin@ieee.org if you can host some of the troupe during that time.
