Dear Partners and Friends of CCAM,

This is our third update about the progress being made researching medical treatment for Buntheep. This email is set up just like the previous ones, but with new options added and unlikely options removed or further clarified.

Buntheep now has a U.S. visa! Praise the Lord! In order to use this visa, Buntheep will need to depart Cambodia within the next three months. At her arrival in the U.S., the officer at customs will decide how long she may stay--usually 6 months.

Several physicians are questioning the diagnosis of a prolactinoma. They feel that the elevation of prolactin in not as high as would be expected from a prolactinoma of that size. One physician is concerned that, due to calcifications, the tumor might be a solid craniopharyngioma. Another physician is suspecting that it might be a fast-growing malignancy.

Following are the main hospital/physician options still being researched (none definite yet).
