Communal Living

Sharing Life and Ministry

All those who had believed were together,
and had all things in common.

Acts 2:44

LOVE IS THE TIE THAT BINDS

For 20 years, CCAMS rescued disadvantaged and at-risk Cambodian children and youth and cared for them in our own home, while home schooling them in general academics and training them in Bible and the five art forms. In 2016, due to new government regulations, CCAMS transitioned from a residential program to a community-based program, where our students live outside of the school building in their own homes, foster homes, or student dormitories, go to local schools or university, but attend classes and participate in the performing arts team at the CCAM School. Since most of our students come from the countryside, they live in a dorm, cared for by Christian dorm parents.

Many CCAMS students were once hopelessly marginalized as throw-away children in a dysfunctional society. After coming to CCAMS and receiving God’s love through the CCAMS family, our hope is that their inner wounds will be healed and that they will grow to maturity as productive citizens and faithful servants of God.
