Dear CCAM Partners and Friends,

Ever since coming home from the clinic, Noren’s health has been improving day by day. Even though the exact name of her infection was never discovered, there has been no recurrence of it since the crisis!

A new lung specialist began to follow her care while she was an inpatient, and he has continued to supervise her progress as an outpatient. His main strategy seems to be weaning her off the nebulizer by substituting other drugs, like theophylline and a budesonide inhaler. Currently Noren only needs the nebulizer every 7 to10 hours, instead of every 2 to 3 hours like before. Now she is sleeping less in the daytime, since she can get more of the sleep she needs at night. So that means she has more time and strength to help counsel and train the students, as well as to partner with the rest of our team to accomplish ministry tasks. Praise God!

Thanks to those of you who prayed for her, and also to those who sent special donations to help with her medical expenses. Please keep praying for more improvements in the days and weeks to come.
