CRISIS PRAYER REQUEST
August 26, 2012

Dear CCAM Partners and Friends,

Our recent newsletters have reported about God’s blessing CCAMS with fruitful ministry and healing from illness. We have just received two new students and are processing a couple more. However, as reflected in the financial report below, our month-to-month financial situation is in crisis! Therefore, we need a miraculous increase in monthly support right away. Please join us to pray for a miracle!

To be fully funded, CCAMS would need $10,000 per month, or $120,000 per year. However, the CCAMS Provisional Budget requires only $6633 per month, or $79,596 per year. This budget covers the basic operating expenses (rent, utilities, food, clothing, medical, etc.).

Compare the provisional amount needed per year with the actual amount wired from CCAM-USA to CCAMS-Cambodia from August 2011 through July 2012 = $66,000, which represents a $13,596 shortfall! From month to month we have prayed, and God has shown us ways to make up what we lacked from sporadic local donations, from money left over in various project funds, or from Noren’s and Gioia’s personal resources. But now left-over money is harder to find, Noren’s resources are exhausted due to the expenses of her illness, and Gioia’s little bit of social security is just not enough.

HISTORY OF THE PROBLEM:

In 2008, a gradual decline in donations began due to the global financial crisis;
During the next few years, some faithful long-term supporters died;
Last month, the one foundation supporting us defaulted due to a major donor’s death;
The CCAM treasurer reports that only $1,755 is available for September’s expenses;
Now, more than ever, we need God’s miraculous provision to survive!

SPIRITUAL PERSPECTIVE:

Before amazing miracles occur, God makes the stakes impossible!

That’s what He did when He hemmed in the children of Israel on all sides, leaving no way of escape from the approaching Egyptian army, so that He could miraculously part the waters of the Red Sea and allow them to flee on dry land! (Exodus 14)

That’s what He did on Mount Carmel, when he led Elijah to pour water three times all over the sacrifice and the wood and completely fill up all the trenches, before calling upon Him to prove Himself by sending a great fire from heaven that licked up all the standing water and totally consumed the sacrifice, the soggy wood, and even the stone altar on which it was offered! (1 Kings 18)

“Nothing is impossible with God!” – Luke 1:26-38

“If you have faith as a mustard seed, nothing shall be impossible to you!” – Matthew 17:19-20

“O, you of little faith, why do you doubt?” – Matthew 14:22-33

“Ask and you shall receive!” – Matthew 7:7-11

“Be it done to you according to your faith!” – Matthew 9:27-31

“Our God shall supply all our needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 4:19

“He is able to do exceeding abundantly beyond all that we could ask or think, according to the power that works within us.” – Ephesians 3:20-21

“If two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven!” – Matthew 18:18-20

Please join us to pray with bold faith and confident expectation that our God will rescue us once again, just as He has done so many times in the past!
