PART ONE:

The time has come to say farewell although we long to stay;
Our hearts are sad to leave this place to go our separate way,
But thanking God for all we’ve shared and bold to make it grow,
We leave to volunteer to serve wherever He will show.

Even though we’ll miss this time, we’ll surely meet again,
Either in this life or in the next, according to His plan,
Let’s pray for one another to live in holiness and love,
As God perfects our souls for eternal life above.

PART TWO:

When Jesus Christ prepared to die on the cross to pay for our sins,
He said farewell to His disciples with words of comfort and hope:
“Let not your heart be troubled, for in heaven are many dwellings.
I’m going to prepare a place for you, and I’ll return to take you there.”

Refrain:
“I will not leave you as orphans;
I’ll ask the Father to send a Helper.
He is the Holy Spirit,
Who will live in you forever.”

So the Holy Spirit dwells inside believers today,
And believers abide in the Holy Spirit too,
So, whether near or far, we can all stay connected
In spiritual fellowship and prayers for one another.

PART THREE:

We bid farewell to one and all, be comforted, have peace,
Be joyful in the knowledge that one day all sin will cease,
Show love to everyone; share unity with the saints,
Until the faithful be complete and freed from all that taints.

May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you all! Hallelujah!
May the love of God the Father be with you all! Hallelujah!
May the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all! Hallelujah!
