Dear CCAM Partners and Friends,

On the first of January, 2014, CCAM partnered with Pastor Kakada’s Russey Keo Baptist Church and a mission team from Australia to visit a prison for men in Kompong Cham province. Click here to view a mini-documentary about that outreach.

Now we are planning for another prison outreach on April 25 with Pastor Kakada and a mission team from the United States. This time we plan to visit a prison in Kandal province where women and youth are incarcerated, along with young children! When Gioia first heard that there were children living in Cambodian prisons with their parents who were convicts, she began to invite people to pray with her that God would rescue those children, and perhaps even use CCAM to help them.

Please pray for the $3,000 needed to prepare basic care packages for 632 prisoners, plus gifts boxes for the children and prison officials. Items in these packages will include packets of Ramen noodles, soap, toothpaste, and other personal items. We plan to give the children a packet of cookies, a stuffed animal, and a CCAMS children’s book.

Please pray that God will open hearts to receive the Good News of hope that we bring through Pastor Kakada’s preaching and the CCAMS artistic presentations. And pray that, if it is God’s will, He will arrange divine appointments with authorities to discuss the possibility of bringing some of those children to live at CCAMS.
