SIGNS FOR GOOD
May 17, 2016

Dear CCAM Partners and Friends,

In answer to our prayers, God continues to show us “signs for good”!  (Psalm 86:17)  One such sign was the recent arrival of Rosie Chase on May 2nd to volunteer for two weeks at CCAMS.  We first met Rosie a few years ago when she visited CCAMS with a mission team.

Currently, Rosie is a CCAM donor who became an advisory board member in 2015.  She has been partnering with us on many networking and fundraising projects ever since.  Now she has agreed to become an executive board member.  Rosie lives in Denver, Colorado, not far from Loveland, where Kelsey and DeeAnn live.  Therefore, during Kelsey’s recent visit to Colorado, Rosie often attended the CCAM events being held in Loveland.

Upon arriving in Cambodia, Rosie first blessed us by delivering two checked bags packed by Kelsey filled with CCAM supplies, saving CCAM $400 in extra baggage fees!  But one of the most precious blessings was the outpouring of her Spirit-filled compassion when she learned about our current crisis as described in the last email newsletter.

Rosie’s primary spiritual gift is intercession, so ever since she arrived, she has been joining with us to pray fervently for God’s solutions to the present difficulties.  She has also volunteered to help recruit and coordinate an intercessory prayer team through the internet composed of prayer warriors who are dedicated to intercede regularly for CCAMS in Cambodia.  She is seeking fellow intercessors who will proclaim in Jesus’ name to our enemy, the devil… “Enough is enough!” …claiming God’s promises of protection and provision for the restoration and anointing of the CCAMS ministry for His end times purposes!  See prayer mandates below.  If any intercessors reading this email sense God calling you to join the team, please notify us by return email.

Another way that Rosie has blessed us through her visit is by spending quality time with the remnant students, playing games with them and surprising them with special gifts and tasty treats.  Using students as models, she has taught our students and staff to cut both male and female hair styles, since she is a hair stylist by trade.  In addition to that, she has donated to us a set of professional tools with which to continue practicing this skill, especially when we prepare our future performing team for public events.

The CCAMS leaders have enjoyed some relaxing outings arranged by Rosie, eating out at local restaurants and fellowshipping together.  And Rosie joined with Gioia and Kelsey to fund an outing to Aeon mall for all of the remnant students to enjoy.

Rosie has also encouraged us by helping us pack in preparation for moving to our new house.  Back in January and February, we sent partner email newsletters explaining about the rental house that we had found, which seemed to be perfectly suited for the needs of the CCAMS ministry. However, since then, the devil has been trying to close this door that God apparently opened, but still he has not been able to accomplish it!  We are preparing a separate email to report about the continuing saga of “The House.”

We know that if the Lord has chosen this house for us, no one else will be able to buy it or rent it! (Revelation 3:7-8)  We took Rosie to see the house, and she joined with all of us to claim the land and the house for the Lord Jesus Christ, to be a beacon of His truth and righteousness, starting in that neighborhood and spreading out as far as our influence might reach! Please pray for God’s will to be done!

The Lord has been gracious to allow our remnant students to remain at CCAMS throughout Rosie’s visit.  On our last Sunday together, Rosie joined all the rest of us leaders to pray individually with each student, anointing them with oil in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (James 5:13-20). That day, there were many confessions of sin, followed by new commitments, or recommitments, of faith in Christ.

Please pray that the government officials will complete the students’ transition to live with their relatives before we move.  And also pray for God to provide appropriate accommodations to meet the needs of each child.

Just before taking Rosie back to the airport, we all gathered together to say farewell with thanksgivings, songs, prayers, and Scripture readings.  Then the students and some of the staff presented Rosie with artwork that they had created.

We are so thankful to Rosie and to our God who called her, for her friendship and partnership with us, and for His revelations during her visit of so many signs of present and future blessing!

And we are also thanking God for His encouraging signs through all of you partners and friends who continue to stand with us, encourage us, and faithfully support us in prayer, financial giving, and practical helps!

Encouraged by the signs,
The Remnant Staff at CCAMS
