Cambodian Christian Arts Ministry School (CCAMS) is a non-profit organization, first established in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, in 1995, by Gioia Michelotti and Noren Vann Kim.  For 20 years, CCAMS has rescued disadvantaged and at-risk Cambodian children and youth and cared for them in our own home, while home schooling them in general academics and training them in Bible and the five art forms (music, dance, drama, visual art, creative writing), including providing them valuable experience through our evangelistic performing arts team. 

The CCAMS Performing Arts Team was invited to tour the U.S. for 3 months in 2001, and Europe for 2 months in 2006.  During the past 20 years, the very gifted Body of Christ at CCAMS has created over 40 original songs, dances, and dramas in traditional Khmer and international styles to proclaim God’s message of salvation from the Bible.

Now, in 2016, CCAMS is transitioning from a residential program to a community-based program, where our students live outside of CCAMS in their own homes, foster homes, or student dormitories, go to local schools or university, but attend classes and participate in the performing arts team at the CCAM School, facilitated by our flexible schedule.

Our refocused mission is to EVANGELIZE disadvantaged Cambodian youth to become members of the Body of Christ, RECRUIT  some of them to join the CCAM School and Performing Arts Team, DISCIPLE them to discover and dedicate their gifts to serve God, TRAIN them in Bible integrated with creative arts for evangelism, church training, and worship, and SEND THEM OUT all across Cambodia (or wherever God calls them), to preach and share their faith through the performing arts, and to distribute CDs, DVDs, and storybooks that they have created, to evangelize the rest of the population.

No fees are charged for disadvantaged students to study at the CCAM School or to live in the CCAM Dorms.  However, donations are welcomed.  CCAMS is a faith ministry, totally dependent on God’s provision through the gifts of His people.

CCAMS is now enrolling disadvantaged Khmer Christian students (12 years and older) and recruiting additional volunteer Christian staff (especially dorm managers/cooks, seamstress, and teachers of the five art forms).  For more information, contact ccam.arts@online.com.kh .
