HARVEST OF MIRACLES 2016
December 31, 2016

“Whatever one sows, that will he also reap…
And let us not grow weary of doing good,
for in due season we will reap,
if we do not give up.”

Galatians 6:7b, 9

Dear CCAM Partners and Friends,

Our God is a miracle-working God!  Nothing is impossible for Him!  Praise Him for all of the miracles listed below that He has faithfully performed for the restoration of CCAMS in 2016!

Phase One:

  • During the first week of January 2016, climaxing a very disappointing two-year search, the Lord revealed to us the school building that He had chosen, subsequently confirmed by many signs;
  • In July, we finally signed the rental contract, after the landlord kept trying to sell the house unsuccessfully for six months;
  • At the signing, we paid the security deposit and two months’ advance rent provided by large financial donations!

Phase Two:

Phase Three:

Phase Four:

  • God’s wisdom was provided for drafting school policies, planning programs, and creating schedules;
  • God called additional volunteers, guest teachers, and staff;
  • God called a new team of student-performers, including CCAMS remnant students (*see below);
  • God provided suitable dormitory space for students from the countryside;
  • God empowered the newly reassembled CCAMS Junior Dance Team to debut two new dances for Jesus’ birthday celebration at Chenla Theater;
  • God has now provided some additional short-term and long-term financial resources!  Two large one-time gifts and two new monthly pledges have especially encouraged us to trust God for more to come; just like the small cloud arising from the sea encouraged Elijah to expect an imminent rain shower in answer to his prayers! (1 Kings 18:41-46; James 5:17-18)

*Our restored team of CCAMS student-performers includes:

  1. Youth who were formerly CCAMS students, most of them orphans, now living in very impoverished conditions with their relatives.  Praise God that these kids will once again have the opportunity to receive proper nutrition and access to academic education in addition to returning to study at CCAMS!
  2. Youth from a predominantly Christian village in the countryside where former CCAMS students (and current partners) Sarath Seng and Bopha So have been teaching them through World Relief for many years.  All of these young people are very poor, some are orphans, and a few need to be rescued from abusive situations.
  3. Youth from another predominantly Christian village in the countryside where our newest partners Sambat and Danielle Long have planted a church.  These young people are also very poor, and especially lacking opportunities for academic education in their village.

Sambat and Danielle have volunteered to be dorm managers, and Sambat’s sister has volunteered to be the cook!  The mother of one student from Bopha’s group has volunteered to become the seamstress!  Praise the Lord!

In addition, some former CCAMS students who are now adults have returned to help and encourage us as well, and they themselves have donated funds and volunteer services!  Praise the Lord!

Just as the children of Israel responded generously to Moses’ appeal for donations to fund God’s work (Exodus 35:4-35), many of you have also responded generously to our appeal!  We are so grateful for your outpouring of support! Please continue to pray for a steady flow of one-time and regular pledged donations to sustain the ministry going forward!

And please join us to thank God for His miraculous restoration of CCAMS!  The whole restoration process from the beginning until now is highlighted in our Facebook photo album, “Nothing Is Impossible for God!”  We will continue to add follow-up photos as they become available.

“This is the Lord’s doing; it is marvelous in our eyes!”
Psalm 118:23

None of these things, and especially not ALL of them, would ever have been humanly possible for our five-member remnant staff to pull off by ourselves!  All we did was to daily sow our living sacrifices sustained by prayer, undying faith, and perseverance!  And God has responded according to His promise in Galatians 6 (quoted above)!  All completed within the year of 2016!  Praise the Lord!

Therefore, as we enter 2017, please continue to pray for the official reopening of the CCAM School in Phase Five.  We will continue to prepare the dorms and help students and staff move in, register the students in government school to pursue their academic studies, make final preparations at the CCAM School, and then open wide the doors for classes to resume, teaching the five art forms integrated with the Word of God for evangelism, church training, and worship!

Thanking God for His faithfulness!
